International Soil and Water Conservation Research (ISWCR) is the official journal of the World Association of Soil and Water Conservation (WASWAC). It shares studies and ideas from different fields related to protecting soil and water. The journal's main goal is to spread new knowledge and encourage better practices for saving soil and water.

The journal includes new ideas, data, and results about soil erosion, as well as methods to prevent and fix damage to the land. It focuses on many topics like how to monitor soil erosion, use soil and water conservation tools, check how well these methods work, improve soil quality, and manage watersheds to protect water and soil.

Some of the main topics the journal covers include:

  • Tools and methods to conserve soil and water

  • Farming practices that help protect the land

  • Checking and managing soil health

  • Damage to land caused by soil erosion

  • Using land in a way that protects soil and water

  • Causes and control of soil erosion

  • How soil erosion happens

  • Managing water resources

  • Managing areas of land that drain into rivers (watersheds)

  • Making plans to protect soil and water in changing climates

  • Reviews of research related to soil and water conservation
